A great landmark to use as a starting point is the Coastal Cottage settlement or the Mahkra Fishpacking facility. From either location, head directly toward the shoreline and follow the coastline north. Stick close to the water to safely navigate around the natural terrain barriers in the area.
How to Travel to the Coastal Homestead
Reaching the house requires traversing through dangerous coastal territories in the northern Commonwealth. Players traveling along the beach should remain cautious, as wild mirelurks and submerged ghouls frequently inhabit the shores. Following the curving coastline past the cliffs will eventually lead you directly to the Nakano front yard.
If you prefer following roads, take the main highway leading towards the northeast until the paved paths end near the water. Prerequisites for Starting the Quest
While you can physically walk to the Nakano Residence at almost any point in your playthrough, specific story progress makes the trip worthwhile. You must first rescue Nick Valentine and complete the main story quest titled Getting a Clue in Diamond City.
